Privacy policy

Rolling Gifts Inc. ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it. This page is a plain-language summary intended as a starting point — before launching to the public you should have it reviewed by counsel to ensure compliance with PIPEDA and any applicable provincial privacy law.

What we collect

Order information: names, shipping addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, gift messages, and embroidery details — everything you enter at checkout.
Payment data: card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see full card numbers. We store the Stripe payment intent ID for reconciliation.
Company/billing data: for invoice orders, company name and PO number.
Quote request data: name, email, company, phone, and any details you include when requesting a corporate quote.
Technical data: essential session cookies, IP addresses for rate-limiting and abuse prevention, and click attribution IDs from advertising (gclid, msclkid) when present.

Why we collect it

To fulfill your order — preparing, embroidering, and shipping your gift.
To send transactional email (order confirmation, shipping notification).
To produce invoices for corporate billing.
To track advertising conversions so we can measure which campaigns work (server-to-server only; we do not run browser pixels).
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

Stripe processes card payments under its own privacy policy.
Postmark sends our transactional emails.
Shipping carriers receive the recipient's name and address to deliver the gift.
We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are retained for seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Abandoned-checkout snapshots older than 72 hours are automatically swept. Quote requests are retained until you ask us to delete them.
